So our Xbee adapter and Xbee shield will all fit this new creature.  And this bee supports AT commands which you can program it. Besides the standard DC motor robot, the Romeo can also be used to control a biped robot which was finished by student from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Check out the video.

We are proud to announce that the DFRobotShop Rover, an Arduino-compatible robotic tracked platform is now on the shelf. This is a joint project between DFRobot.com and Robotshop.com. We've worked very hard on this project for more than 8 months. Now, it finally hits the ground.  

So, what this rover can do? 

"The DFRobotShop Rover can be programmed using the Arduino IDE to perform any robotic action you can imagine and is versatile enough to accommodate various electronics and mechanical accessories such as various Arduino shields, a breadboard, a standard servo motor through its servo mounting point, etc. The user is free to choose what task this little robot should accomplish; we are eager to see it in the outside world doing crazy things."  From Robotshop Blog.

 WOW! A track robot with wireless camera is built up by one of our engineers.  It features a Pan/Tilt Wireless Camera, with wireless remote control and autonomous obstacle avoidance.  The best thing is that this robot only costs less than 300 bucks.

To built such a robot, what you need are

• RP5 Track platform
• DFRduino or Arduino Duemilnove
• IO Expansion Shield
• APC220 wireless module or Xbee module or Bluetooth Module
• Wifi Camera
• Three Sharp GP2d12 sensors
• Pan/Tilt Kit
• Voltage regulator
• Battery
