DFRobot Bluetooth V3 Module connects to android phone

My project require bluetooth connection to an android phone. I want to use DfRobot Bluetooth V3 module because it is cheaper and smaller thaan other module i found so far.

But while I research the internet and datasheet, I still unconvinced whether the module is compatible with android phone's bluetooh. Can anybody confirm the compatibility of DFRobot Bluetooth V3 module and android phone. Also, any project reference or discussion about this is very appreciated.

I can confirm that the bluetooth module is compatible with android phones. I have used it to monitor a serial connection.
