$9.50 for a total of 10 boards
or
10 boards for a total of $95.00?
Also, since I'm new to this, I have another basic question. What is meant by a 2 layer board? Are there two conductive layers, one on each side of the board with vias connecting between the two sides? What if my design is very simple and only requires a single conductive side? Will the 2 layer option work with that?

Yeah, the conductive layers of 2 layer board is connected. And the price of single layer and 2 layer is same. they both print on both sides.
