Freematics Kit #3 Mega ADK Model B I2C adapter Dislpay Issues

I bought the full upgrade of Kit #3 from freematics. Hooked the shield into the ITEAD ADK ran the Source MegaLogger code after importing all the libraries. The LCD backlight is on but nothing else is working. Im wondering if the Pins are correct in a library or if i simply did something wrong. I also wired it up according to the datasheet and have the same result. Everything compiled and uploaded just fine. Both the CodeBlocks with Arduino Builder and Arduino software with the Libraries added worked fine. I made sure the Config.h lcd was set to SSD1289 and the others were commented out. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to look or provide some pinouts if something is different on the ITEAD ADK.
