Thanks for posting a link to the vortex.js in another of your forum post which detailed a large part of the protocol.
With that information we have put together a Web Bluetooth Vortex demo which can be found https://www.thebubbleworks.com/
2016-03-18 18:22:55 Yeah, Google is always surprizing userHeadPic Leff
2016-03-17 21:38:00 a bit more like: ChromeOS>Android>Linux>Mac>Windows>iOS

not when you realise that it's coming out of Google.

2016-03-17 18:28:15 Oh, thanks for the link, so it means the app compatibility is best on Linux>Mac>Windows, right? A little wierd. userHeadPic Leff
2016-03-16 22:30:16 yep, as I develop on a Mac with built-in BLE h/w (dongle on old should work too, I used todo that).
But currently Mac Web Bluetooth support is just 'find BLE devices' and connect, you can't send/recv data just yet.
Linux support is far further ahead, Windows 8.1 is further behind.

2016-03-16 11:14:01 Ah, sounds the compatibility is really vast. Have you tried on a laptop/Mac with BLE built-in? userHeadPic Leff
2016-03-16 03:40:24 Yes, there is a dependancy on your computer having BluetoothLE hardware, be that builtin, DFRobot's USB BLE Adapter or other USB Bluetooth 4.x adapter.

I've been running the demo on a Nexus 7 Tablet, so you don't necessarily even need a PC.
