Mega Sensor Shield (DFR0165) Power

I have an external voltage regulator (5V 2.5A).
Can i provide power to the Arduino through the PWR IN of the Mega Sensor Shiel V2.4 ?
What are the specifications for this power connector ?

Mega expansion shield's PWR_IN is the same as the one on V7 expansion shield, that is SERVO_PWR.
