DFR0339 DFRobot Beetle BLE Gamepad

I have just purchased a v1.1 Beetle, which I intend to use as a gamepad interface in a wireless sim racing steering wheel. I have confirmed that my device works by using the test sketch and android app, but other than that, I am unsure how to proceed. How would I go about making my pc recognize the board as a gamepad? I am guessing it has to do with the HID configuration. I tried to follow a thread regarding this matter, but all links etc have been removed.
