Hi.

I'm totally new to arduino in general. I am trying to upload a simple sketch to EcoDuino. I have installed the serial driver for usb from SiliconLabs, and I see Arduino Leonardo in my System Information:

Arduino Leonardo:

Product ID: 0x8036
Vendor ID: 0x2341
Version: 1.00
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/s
Manufacturer: Arduino LLC
Location ID: 0x14100000 / 3
Current Available (mA): 500
Current Required (mA): 500
Extra Operating Current (mA): 0

I have selected Arduino Leonardo board in my Arduino IDE, but when I try to upload my sketch, I get the following error:

Arduino: 1.8.10 (Mac OS X), Board: "Arduino Leonardo"

Sketch uses 4022 bytes (14%) of program storage space. Maximum is 28672 bytes.
Global variables use 149 bytes (5%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2411 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2560 bytes.

"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

I think I might need a programmer driver, but I couldn't find one for the Mac (as I am a Mac user). Could you help me solve my problem?

Turns out, there was a problem with either USB3.1 (USB-C on my new MacBook) or with the usb-c to usb-a adapter I was using to connect the cable provided to my macbook. Tried connecting it to an older macbook directly and everything worked.
