Track your bike with these cleverly hidden devices

DFRobot Feb 24 2015 171

It’s pretty amazing how terrible bicycle security is at the moment. A bike can be stolen within minutes and once it is it’s gone forever. Bike Hawk will help you fight back.

With GPS and a cellular network the concealed devices can beam their location to the owner, wherever in the world they are, once the bike starts moving.

Three flavours are available. The first fits inside the bike’s steerer tube and is fairly simple to install, as well as being inconspicuous.

The second replaces the seat post. And before you say it – the post can’t be removed thanks to a security bolt.

The third is disguised as a regular back light and is the easiest to install.

Not only for security the devices can be used to track your rides. Data collected can be transferred to apps like Strava and Endomondo to give some meaning.

The team starts work at tech accelerator Wayra next year who will help drive the business forward. Until then they are raising funds through Indiegogo.

Fund them now to get 45% off.
