How is the commission calulated?

Your commission is calculated as a percentage of the net product value of eligible orders placed by the customers you refer. This rate is determined by your affiliate membership class, as shown in the chart below. The more successful referrals you bring to DFRobot, the higher your commission rate will grow!

(Note: Your membership class will be automatically upgraded as soon as your cumulative referrals reach the respective threshold.)

To help you better manage your earnings, please take a moment to review our friendly payout and exclusion guidelines:

• Commission Exclusions:

  • Shipping fees and taxes are excluded from commission calculations, as commissions are calculated solely on the net product value.
  • Commissions are not generated for unpaid, canceled, or fully refunded orders, nor for transactions that did not go through successfully.
  • For partially shipped or partially refunded orders, your commission will be dynamically adjusted to correspond with the net value of the items successfully delivered to and kept by the customer. Any refunded portions will be gently deducted from the pending balance.

• 30-Day Lock Period:

  • To accommodate potential post-sale returns or refunds, earned commissions are held in a Pending (Locked) status for 30 days starting from the order's shipping date. Once this period passes without any return or refund requests, the funds will automatically unlock and be added to your Available Balance.

• Payout Request & Terms:

  • To keep processing efficient for everyone, we have set a minimum payout threshold of US$50.00.
  • To request a payout of your unlocked earnings, simply log into your Affiliate Portal (Personal Center) and click the [Request Payout] button.
  • Once your request is submitted, our team will review and process your payment via your chosen method (such as PayPal or Bank Transfer) within 7 working days.
  • To ensure transaction security and accuracy, we process one payout request at a time. The [Request Payout] button will be temporarily paused while your current request is being completed.

Where should I not promote my affiliate link?

You can promote affiliate link through several channels, except for the ones listed here below:

-Google Adwords

-Bing Ads

-Yandex Ads

-Facebook Ads

-Yahoo Ads

You will have to request our permission prior to promote your affiliate link on these platforms, in order to avoid a conflict of interests between our and your ads.

If an affiliate is found to be using these channels without our permission, the user will receive a warning. If this behaviour continues, then the correspondent affiliate account will be deleted and no commission will be paid.

Can I create an affiliate website, social media page or blog?

You can create a website, blog or social media channel as part of your affiliate strategy. However, the visual identity of your channel can not be similar to the one DFRobot's official channels.

Please avoid the following:

-Using "DFRobot" on the site page or profile name;

-Using the DFRobot logo as the profile, header or site logo;

-Communicating or acting as a representative of DFRobot;
