March 23-24.2013 in Vienna, RobotChallenge celebrated its 10th anniversary: Robot designers from all over the world competed with their self-made, autonomous robots in 15 different competitions. In addition to the traditional competitions -- Robot Sumo, Line Follower, Puck Collect, Humanoid Sprint and Freestyle -- flying robots took part in the "Air Race" for the second time. The new competition "Line Follower LEGO" is a special category for robots built out of LEGO bricks and is aimed primarily at beginners. In the last few years RobotChallenge became one of the biggest events in the field of robotics worldwide. Since 2004 teams from 31 countries with more than 1000 robots have competed.
