R9 resistor to R10 with 3-wire Serial LCD Module

I'm new to the arduino scene.
I've recently bought an interface shield and this lcd display

It says that I have to move the R9 resitor to the R10 to set it to SPI mode. I'm so confused can anybody help me?
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.
If it's any help I'm using an intel galileo gen 2

You have to solder off the R9 and then solder it to the R10 place. Leff
