Nixie Module and Arduino - not enough power?

Hi there,

I've built a wee CPU temperature indicator using two Nixie Modules and Arduino, powered via USB cable.
However it looks like when using two nixie tubes/modules one of them is always dimmed, like not enough power. It changes sometimes and both light up strong, but randomly they go down a bit..
Is USB not giving enough power for two modules?
What should I do?

As I know, there isnt a working voltage range, according to the schematic, there is a booster circuit on the module, the minimum input voltage should be 5v, but maximum voltage should be not too much bigger than 5 v. Since I dont have a module to do a test, I cant give you how much can be larger than 5V.

2016-10-18 22:21:29 Hi there, need some technical help as I could not find this anywhere online.

regarding the Nixie Module -Limited (Arduino Compatible) SKU:DFR0206, what is the maximum power input that I can provide? It says to provide 5V, but what is the maximum voltage I can connected to? Does it have a working voltage range?

thank you

I am not sure about it. You can give it a try.

Yes, both sides could be available for the power input/ output.

Inside the PC, computer you mean?
