Romeo v1.3 Button Example

I have a Romeo v1.3 and need to understand how the on-board buttons work. I understand its pin 0 and an analog input.
I tried the example sketch on the new Romeo V2 page and it doesn't work. The correct button values are not recognized.
Does anyone have an example sketch on how to detect what button is pushed on the Romeo v1.3?

My board shows different than the manual here. Mine only has two pins, not three. The jumper is either on or not. I wish I could find the manual for the board I have.
