Maquuen Robot Ultrasonic Broken

In my class today my students are not able to get the Maqueen Ultrasonic to work.
All they can get is 0 to display on the LED.
I notice in the github repository there was a change related to the ultrasonic 4 days ago.
Has this introduced a bug??
