32x16 RGB LED Matrix not lighting up correctly

I purchased this board: SKU_DFR0471
After connecting the pinouts as follows
32x16 Matrix Board UNO
1 2
2 3
3 4
4 GND
5 5
6 6
7 7
8 GND
9 A0
10 A1
11 A2
12 GND
13 8
14 A3
15 9
16 GND
When I run Sample Code 1 and Sample Code 2, only the bottom half rows light up (see attached), neither sample code works as expected.
Please help!

I have checked the wiki of this module, did you connect power supply here? You didn't mentioned in your connection.
Also, It needs an external power supply, did you added on your arduino board?
