Gesture & Touch Sensor partially not working

There is a Gesture & Touch Sensor, SKU: SEN0285.

The sensor detects touch buttons, as well as movements forward, backward, up, down and release. But does not respond to movements to the left and right. What could be the reason?
I tried to connect to Arduino UNO and Arduino MEGA. The result is the same.
