DRI0023

Hi,
On my motor shield DRI0023, there are 9 pins in the right row and 8 in the left one.
Neither in the DFR Wiki, nor in the A4988 datasheet this ninth pin appears.
Any help, please ?
Thanx a lot.

Sorry for the late reply.
Since we need to connect two motors to the board, there are two driver chips and two VMM pins, which is connected to same points.

2017-02-12 17:37:46 Hi zaltys,
Have you tried to replace with a stock 8pins chip at the end ? how did it worked ?
Did you identified which pin was the 9th ? is it the ENABLE pin ?
Thanks
Mathieu

You can have a try to find a new brand with 17 pins . And because our sample code donnot need a libraray, theoretically you can put a 16 pins instead of original driver.

2016-05-21 06:53:42 Hi,
Thank you for these informations.
Another question please. If I "toast" a driver on this motor shield, is it possible to find a brand new 17 pins or can I put a 16 pins one instead of the original driver ?
Have a nice day.
