frogeraie 2016-09-25 03:24:03 2243 Views5 Replies I bought lately (order #68859) four ATmega328 Chips with Arduino Bootloader DFR0081, when I insert them in a Duemilenove DFRobot board I get an error message from Arduino: "avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 4 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00"
Can you explain why? Is the bootloader missing?

And I asked help for my colleage, he said, the usb to port chip of Duemilanove is different with the uno, and the chip you bought is atmega328 chip, so maybe you can directly use the uno to replace for the old board or maybe you need to burn the bootloader of the uno serial port chip to the chip of the old board. Wendy.Hu 2016-09-28 07:40:14 I have been using Arduino since 2005 and I know how to place the microcontroler! I have tried the 4 chips and none works. The board I use is marked:"DFRobot DFRduino Duemilanove", there is no sku. Maybe is it the UNO bootloader which is loaded on them? frogeraie

I thought it was for regular aduino board like Duemilenove. Am I wrong? Did you ship me atmega with Uno bootloader? frogeraie
