Changing the data direction of Smart Servo Shield

Hello, I recently have been tweaking the Digital Smart Servo Shield of DFRobot. Looking at the datasheet I have a question. How do you change the data direction of the Smart Servo Shield? As the description says, this board is a half-duplex circuit. So according to this feature doesn't the shield should have a I/O pin for the data direction control?
I am guessing the TX is an Active Low control and the RX is Active High control. But the circuit only shows an PD_TXD, PD_RXD with a SN74HC connected to the Rob_UART.
How do you change the serial communication direction of this half-duplex circuit?

2016-11-19 00:26:09 Hi Sir,
Thanks for your support to our DFRobot.
So sorry, so far, our Smart Servo Shield only support to send data, dont support to receive data from the servo. This is a weakness of our products. So I will give a feedback to our team, hope there will be an update later.
Have a good day.
