Integrate DFRobot Wifi Shield with Arduino and Android

I am new to Arduino platform. I am developing an Android application which requires communication with Arduino over Wifi Shield. Therefore, I chose DFRobot Wifi Shield V3. I have successfully configured the wifi shield. However, I am lack of idea on how to make it communicate with Arduino and Android application. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks

Wifi shield V3 is not a special device, it is compatible with most of TCP/IP app. If you have interest in developing a special version, you could check the “ConnectBot” on Google play. (I am not sure whether it has an IOS verison
)
