mpr121 using as liquid level sensor

Hi,

I was trying to use the mpr121 as a liquid level sensor. I had a copper tape and soldered wires stick to a plastic bottle at levels. I use the capatouch.touch() method to check if sensor has the water level at the point as i pour water into the container. I did not see any changes.

Do i have to make any changes to the touch() to be able to read changes to capacitance via rising liquid rather than a physical touch to the copper plates.

Thanks.

If you want to measure the liquid level, I would like to suggest you choose these sensors as follows:make_clickable_callback(MAGIC_URL_FULL, '
', 'https://www.dfrobot.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=liquid&description=true', '', ' class="postlink"')

The mpr121 sensors I think cant be used as a liquid level sensor, only a touch module. :)
