Gravity: Alcohol Sensor SEN0376

Measuring Range of the sensor declared as 0-5ppm.
That corresponds to 0 - 0.005 promile.
It means that will constantly overscaled at any reasonable
ammount of alcohol.
And indeed it overscaled after 0.33L of beer.
The question is: what is practtical benefit of this device?

2021-06-25 00:57:45 Haha, I have a funny story about this sensor. When I was sixteen, let's just say I wasn't the most behaved child in the world. I got in with the wrong crowd, and I started developing alcohol addiction. One night, after coming home from a party, my parents decided to try out their new Gravity Alcohol Sensor(they got it after many incidents of me coming home drunk and lying about it). That moment changed my life, as I started going to rehab at the Gloucester Addiction Help clinic(which I totally recommend btw). After that, I became a different person, and I'm so happy that my parent got that sensor.

NO it could not! It has very narrow sensing range, much below any real concentrations

The calibration is started automatically during initialization. It is important that the sensor is in good / fresh air as smoke / other gases would falsify the calibration. The process takes a few seconds, but the gas content can already be measured thereafter (see video). Some sensors are quite hot, but this should not be a cause for concern.
