6-axis robot arm based on Arduino

A few days ago I purchased a 6 axis robotic arm and control it through serial touch screen and Arduino UNO.
I have achieved to control the basic gripping of the robot arm, next I want to make the robot arm do reciprocating motion, does anyone have similar experience.
