2017-07-07 18:26:26 I made an interactive floor for our WWI exhibition using a LattePanda, a Kinect, a projector and mirror. The poppies move as you walk through them. Been popular with kids and adults alike. userHeadPic tobywalton

2017-07-07 11:01:23 Hi guys, I made a mobile robot based on DFRobot Romeo and the old Tank platform. I recently got a Devastator kit to upgrade the hardware since the old tank gets stuck too easily :)

A smartphone is used for sensors, logic and connectivity. It is connected to a IOIO board to talk to the arduino, which controls motors, servos and other sensors. The nice thing using a smartphone is that is takes the robot online anywhere.

Another upgrade is the addition of a 6DOF arm with gripper, but I had a few set-backs with the arm since it keeps burning out expensive servos...

Unfortunately I am unable to add pics inline (maybe due to https links?) but here is a share:

Cheers

2017-07-06 14:19:05 I used a DFRobot Audio Analyzer Module and Analog Sound Sensor, along with a Raspberry Pi, to make LEGO robots dance in sync with music. Details are at: http://www.hightechlego.com/Dancing%20L ... Robots.php userHeadPic grady

2017-07-06 08:30:39 I am Marco Mescoli and this is our open source educational project:

http://roboino.omnib.it/

This is a little programmable robot based on arduino nano. It can move with two asimmetric wheels with three point as base area. Can communicate via bluetooth, in front has three fotocouples so it can follow optical guides, two infrared distance sensor and two dc motors each with quad encoders hall effect.

The project is open source in all its parts, completly free and you can download mechanical, electrical (scheme and pcb) and software project and make it better :-)

2017-07-05 04:18:18 https://github.com/zhum/RFID2 - here is my project. Now I'm finishing it 'in metal'. This is electric lock controller with WIFI/RFID/Keyboard. You can open the lock by secret code from keyboard (code can be changed without reprogramming!), by MQTT message (e.g. via your phone), or by RFID card. Cards can be added/deleted/replaced without reprogramming.
I used DFRduino and WeMod D1 (sorry  ), but WeMos can be replaced by any DFRobot arduino + ESP8266 module or ESP8266-based module.
