Red Light ON and that's it. No Boot
3kg 2016-06-10 00:46:05 24706 Views39 Replies Uhh - bad. After an unsuccessful try to install win10 on my LPx64 now all I see is black screen.
Before: Out of box it would sit at "wait a moment" for ever, and in BIOS it read win8.1 so install win10 was indicated.. But it did boot and recognize USB ports. 5,6,7 tries to install win10 as per sound forums guides - no success. Tried default boot and auto boot, according to forums advise, and got stuck. One more try to boot from USB and show over. Now all that happens: Plug in proper power (has worked all past 3 days flawless) red constant and blue blinkung for maybe 3 to 5sec. then blue off, red remaining on.
Not booting, screen black, no access what'S how ever - nothing.
I observed that the USB stick's signal LED was blinking as it should previous 3 days when trying win10 install. Now, unfortunately I get one 200ms blink right aft power up and nothing else. To me it looks as if boot from USB no longer possible, prob not recognizing USB ports. But fix how?
Hope for some help to get this otherwise nice thing working for me.

BTW - I have some screenshots from failed win10 and some from usb boot, don't think these will help, but just let know.
