Raihan.Qodri 2023-02-25 04:07:16 611 Views3 Replies Do you have to warm up the sensor module every time you want to use the MG811? or just warm it up when you want to use it for the first time
After preheating the sensor still does not provide data, is there a solution?

Aditya Rinaldi As Nelokin has already answered, the 48 hours warming up is necessary for the first time.

But the pre heating for 3 mins is needes everytime you use it. This is true for pretty much every Co2 sensor we use.
By the way, if you're interested in making a compact PCB based on Co2 sensor and Arduino, you can consider making a design like this:

 bidrohini.bidrohini Hi
Are you asking for Gravity: Analog Electrochemical Carbon Dioxide Sensor (0-10000 ppm)(SKU:SEN0159)?
For the first time usage, you have to warm it up for 24 hours.
After that, you can use your sensor 3 minutes after pre-heated, the data will be more accurate.
Hope it can help.
