Can DFPlayer Mini access Flash of Pico?

Hello, My project involves playing MP3 using the Raspberry Pi PICO with 2MB Flash and the DFPlayer Mini. I was wondering if the DFPLayer can be setup (maybe via code and wiring) to get the MP3 files from the 2MB Pico Flash instead of the SSD card.
