URM37 Distance Measurement Issue

Hello,

I have purchased URM37 Ultrasonic distant sensor, the range which DFRobot mentioned is 5~500cm but it is measuring only 35Cm. Will you please tell me why it is happening like this and I am using RS232 protocol. And is there is any address to change to the distance.
