The instruction is very messy and I have just burnt one of my circuit board accidentally. Could you please revise your Wiki document as soon as possible? I felt very disappointed that there is no over current protection at all.

I just need two cases:

1. How to power a 5V 3rd party device through PWROUT with a 12V PWRIN? What jumper setting I need?

2. How to power a 5V Arduino Yun with a 12V PWRIN. What jumper setting I need?

What are the most safety way (a step by step instruction assumed I have multimeter) to switch from case 1 to case 2 to avoid over current?

.

Bought these so I could power the Arduino and a cellular shield from a battery bank (~30V) but this doesn't appear to power the arduino up. Am I missing something or is the product description of "Arduino now have one power supply for all." misleading???

Hey Russ,
Sorry for the trouble you are having. You should be able to power the Arduino via the shield. Could you please refer to the product wiki here https://wiki.dfrobot.com/Po... . Please note there are two operating modes for the shield. You will find the setup under the Tutorial section, make sure the jumpers and potentiometer are set to the correct position for your specific case.
