Hello,
I purchased a DFR0362 wireless charging kit through Digi-Key.
I connected it to a PCB with some electronic that sinks about 150mA with a charging circuit that can provide up to a 1A for a 6000mAh LiPo battery.
By using the USB power, I can see the correct current consumption but by powering it with the DFR0362 I can see maximum 750mA.
This only by keeping contact between the two coils.
If I put a transparent plastic ruler with a thickness 3mm, the current goes down to 5mA.
JaneYu I was hoping to combine this, microcontroller with BT, Wifi, and accellero, some LiPo charger and some battery for instance two LIR2450's. Do you have some suggestion in hardware that could make this work? The plan is to charge my device on the base station and it running on the battery when it isn't on the base station. If it can run for a day or maybe two on the battery that is long enough. The smaller the size the better.
JaneYu Can I use the receiver with another charging station - saying, with Mi Wireless Fast Charger or other QI wireless chargers?
JaneYu Hi,
Is the schematic for the transmitting circuit correct? The circuit board for the transmitter does not look like it matches the schematic. If not, do you have an updated schematic?
JaneYu What is the maximum and minimum power supply for the 5V / 1A module. Can somone add the range of allowable input voltages.
JaneYu PS: the chip used on this DRRobot one is the T5336 / XKT333 [ https://www.jotrin.com/prod... ]
-- you won't find it on Google (China blocks a lot of tech search results from Google) -- try searching through Bing.com for chinese parts -- they're less blocked.
JaneYu For anyone thinking this device is useful as a phone charger, no it's not. Mobile device chargers follow international standards, primarily QI, to define the charge protocol. This device is one from a family which use the T5336 (=XKT333) device from China. The application context is referenced in a research paper, and it is *recharging of landed delivery drones*. The resonant coupling technique is used to cope with the wider gaps you may meet in such a situation. [ That paper is here: https://www.researchgate.ne... ]
JaneYu Sorry, I didn't understand what you meant before. The no-load current of the coil is about 5mA.
JaneYu
