Hi, I have been using this converter for a few weeks and works great. I am just having some issues when converting a signal from RS485 to TTL. I was having some 'framing' issues (the idle state of the line was a logic 0, when it should be a logic 1, so the start and stop bits where not being detected correctly by my logic analyzer). I noticed a jumper labeled 'RS485_RES' and decided to remove it, and the framing errors disappeared. I did not find information about this jumper in the wiki. Could you please elaborate a little on this jumper?

That is the RS485 termination resistor link.

I recently bought two of these to go USB -> RS 485, then RD 485 -> TTL. Everything is hooked up correctly, but i still get framing errors. Only on the TX line of the TTL. Any help or recommendations would be helpful. I'm using about 250' of twisted pair, and i also hooked up a shield ground. Thank you!

Make sure to restart your machine AND make sure you use a micro USB cable that is also data (and not just power).
