What's the field of view for this sensor?

Is the MLX90614-DCI module equipped with a single-point medical-grade infrared temperature sensor, which can detect the temperature of objects with an accuracy of ±0.2°C in the body temperature range? Or it is only the MLX90614-DCC that can detect the temperature with an accuracy of ±0.2°C ?

Hey Kalpesh,
I am unsure if you are asking us if you can use the IR sensor behind a metal surface or not. Since this sensor is contactless , it is depedant on its FOV (Field of View) therefore if the metal surface is obstructing the FOV, the sensor will read the temperature of that metal surface and not an object behind it. Please take a look at the product wiki "Measurement Method" section here: https://wiki.dfrobot.com/IR...

Yes, this sensor is controlled by I2C, you can use ESP8266 microcontroller to control it.
