JaneYu I don't think the problem is due to sample code. Could you connect the sensor to a different arduino board, like Uno? There could be something wrong with SCL or SDA pin on your mega, otherwise should be the problem of circuits in the sensor.
JaneYu I tested the other SCL/SDA pins on the Mega, and also an Arduino UNO R3, and it's always the same situation. Then I downloaded the Adafruit library for the BME680 sensor, and there it works fine, so it really looks like a bug in the DFRobot library. It's worth saying that on compile, there are warnings about a shift due to type issues, which can very well be the source of the problem. For context, I'm compiling and uploading this on a Windows 10 computer with the latest Arduino IDE.
