Hello, what is the rated torque of this and its rated RPM? The stall torque is 18Kg.cm but what will be its rated torque at its rated RPM?
JaneYu Hi is there a CAD file for this motor
JaneYu Hey, so have you done a CAD file with the dimension ? If yes, would you mind to share please ?
Hi. What is the maximum torque or current that this motor can accept continuously without damage?
JaneYu Hi, I wanna use this motor to drive my mobile robot with large torque. I wonder how long it can be "continuously" used if it drive with shorter or larger than rated torque.
JaneYu Hello,
Is there any kind of motor lag after the power is off? I experience a situation where microcontroller counts signals from encoder and order motor driver to stop exactly after one rotation (700 cpr). When microcontroller reaches 700 counts, motor driver stops but the wheel attached to the motor shaft stops like 1 centimeter after the point where one rotation is. I thought there is a lag between the order to stop and real stop. I expcted the encoder to keep counting until full stops. However the counter is exactly 700 ticks so it looks like the motor driver stops the power after 700 pulses but motor keeps going without power for some time. Due this fact I cannot reach stop exactly after one rotation.
JaneYu What is the actual resolution of the encoder? The linked wikipage says "64 counts per revolution of the motor shaft, which corresponds to 2797 counts per revolution of the gearbox" while the product page says "Encoder Resolution: 16CPR(motor shaft)/700CPR(gearbox shaft)". What is the meaning of "counts" in this context? Is it CPR or PPR? See for example https://www.precisionmicrod...
