How the feedback system works ? Is there any sensor to detect the state of the lock ? or it is just from the last state read?
JaneYu - according to specs, the code requires you to operate the lock by sending a high or low signal that is less than 5s. It also shows operating current as 1.5a, but how much current is drawn during an open/close operation that has a signal less than 5s?
JaneYu Hi Bryant,
The principle of an electromagnetic lock (magnetic lock) is the same as that of an electromagnet, that is, it uses electricity to generate magnetism and attracts each other to control the switch lock. Let's look at the diagram below,

The weight can be placed both vertically or horizontally.
JaneYu Hi! Which relay should I use with this lock? NO (Normally opened) or NC (Normally closed)?
JaneYu Hi, Oliver
Please follow the connection diagram to connect the lock.

If your power supply is high, you cannot use a switch. otherwise you may use it. However if you follow the product wiki, in the example, a relay is used rather than a switch. If you have further questions, please contact us through [email protected] with your queries/questions in details.
JaneYu When the solenoid is in the locked position, is it still possible to insert the latch — as in, can a door still be closed? Much like an inclined lock still allows the door to close. Thanks!
JaneYu Do you know what the load impedance of this lock is?
JaneYu I am not sure, there is no relevant documentation to mention. Do you want to use it in a high-frequency circuit?
Hi, you could browse this link that I hope you will be satisfied.
