Its bc software is also needed to trigger shutdown. Pi is meant to be a cheap diy educational comp, and a lack of on/off switch is one of many sacrifices they made.

No, I am asking whether this case will block the wifi signal from the RPi. Similar to how a faraday cage blocks EMR waves (or how your phone stops working in a metal lift).

There's no push button on the Pi either. What pins need to connected to initiate shutdown? I only know of hitting shutdown on a display.
