is this sensor not suitable in ventilated environments?
Here it the datasheet of SEN0496
https://dfimg.dfrobot.com/n...
Hope it can help.
JaneYu Hi, what is the max operating current of this sensor?
JaneYu We donot test the max current of the whole sensor.
But the datasheet of the probe shows that the max current is under 140uA.
I am using the sensor with Rasberry Pi4B and Python.
As 4 other people have mentioned in the comments, the sensor shows weird values and values jump without any reason. The decimal part although looks reasonable. But numbers before decimal jump and it makes no sense. The values are still jumpy after 40 minutes of running, so it has nothing to do with warming up.

JaneYu good morning.
what happen if i use this sensor in very low atomosferic pressre condition (for example if i put the sensor as measuring device in a stratospheric balloon)?
JaneYu Hi, If the measurement environment is outside the sensor pressure range, the data may be inaccurate
Hi, will this sensor be able to withstand vacuum for loading in and out of a controlled environment? The measurements will occur at normal pressure in argon gas, but we will need to pull a vacuum when loading the sensor in the airlock. Will this sensor be suitable?
JaneYu As long as the sensor is at 10% of standard atmospheric pressure at the time of measurement, the data can be measured normally.
can you tell me how you calculate oxygen concentration % with this sensor?
JaneYu can someone assist me with this sensor? we have purchased it and the code works perfectly fine, however the sensor's values of O2 jump from time to time, one time it gives 20% and another time 23% then 26 %. your help is appreciated.
JaneYu Can you separate the round oxygen sensor from board and extend it by soldering wires to the sensor tube stubs and then to the board or will heating the stubs destroy the sensor? The friction contacts kind of fall off half the time now.
JaneYu Hi,
Are there any Raspberry-Pi resource on the application of the Oxygen sensor?
My meaning is how to combine the Oxygen sensor with RPi-board, so that I can use Python code to achieve the oxygen concentration.
Thanks.
JaneYu Hi. This sensor is intrinsically safe?
JaneYu Hi, the air in our life can be used, but if there is combustible gas or gas containing oxygen atoms in the hermetic space, it will affect the measurement result, it is recommended not to use it.
This is really confusing, we can measure o2 concentration above 30%? what is the range? I need it to design Diving Nitrox measuring system.
JaneYu Hi, It's not suitable for the application with o2 concentration above 25%.
The actual maximum measurement is 30%Vol, but we do not recommend use, it will reduce the life of the sensor.
Hi I want to measure oxygen concentration varying from 5% to 98% is it suitable for the application
JaneYu Sorry, Its effective range is 0~25%Vol, not suitable for above 25%vol.
Good evening. This sensor is exactly what i was looking for. Do you have anothers sensors like this to measure the ambient CH4 and CO concentration? Thanks for your help.
JaneYu
