We're sorry for your poor experience, as your product is out of warranty and looks more like a damaged screen display layer. We recommend that you try and find a professional electronics repair service in your local area.
JaneYu This screen was great except that you always had to re-adjust the brightness every time it disconnected/reconnected (think laptop going to sleep or even screen blanking throughout the day), but its now a piece of junk.
While I've had it a couple of years (Just under 3 years) I only used it occasionally. Recently plugged it in and was working fine for a couple of weeks but now it's got terrible lines all over the screen. checked on another pc and same problem. maybe cable but unlikely.
I really hate buying expensive throwaway junk like this.
JaneYu Is this compatible with the Sigma? I see Sigma listed under Introduction but then I see it omitted in Features. If you could verify that it's compatible with the Sigma that'd be great. Thanks.
JaneYu What kind of power supply is required? It looks like the standard smartphone charger won't suffice. How much Amps do I need to provide (need to mount in in a car)?
JaneYu Will a pen stylus work on this? If so, what kind? If not, please tell me why?
My intended application is for the user to draw on the screen with a stylus.
JaneYu @DFrobot Since this has HDMI input, can it not be used with any device that outputs HDMI video? Also, agree with Eldaria on location of cables.
