Pressing the On/Off button activates the circuit for only 5 seconds. Then it immediately shuts itself off, regardless if in Hold or Normal mode. Makes the 3V & 5V output ports useless. Lack of battery inversion protection makes this critically flawed as well. Regret buying.
JaneYu How much power does the board need for internal circuitry while in hold mode (if output draws about 5mA at 5V)?
JaneYu Is it possible that the board draws over 200mA in hold mode? In my first test, battery voltage over 6 hours dropped from 3.65V to 3.27V which according to datasheet corresponds to about 1.5 Ah.
1.5Ah / 6h = 0.25A and I was drawing less than 10mA with my attached hardware.
Does this sound plausible?

Destroyed at first use by students because there are no battery inversion protection, and sometimes it's a bit difficult to find the "+" on the 18650 which plastic protection are used.
And no datasheet to repair it.
JaneYu Sorry to hear this, if you reverse the battery, there is no way to repair the module.
This is stated on our product pages and in the tips on our products.
But we will consider this issue in the follow-up product development.
Anyway of bypassing the on/off switch? so a button doesn't have to be pushed?
