what was the solution? :) same problem here :/
Can someone please explain me dumb lost soul how this cord should even be used to connect an external SSD?
For example, SSD Enterprise Samsung 1.92TB PM9A3 2.5-Inch U.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 MZ-QL21T900.
This SSD requires 12V
Yet this cord has no power INPUT, it has only power OUTPUT (it literally makes no sense to me to provide a power OUTPUT on something that is supposed to allow for connecting a SSD)
Since the SSD draws its power from the U2 end, and has no power INPUT, where do you magically pull 12V from, in order to provide that in the cord's power OUTPUT?
And how do you feed the SSD with the 12V 3.5W expected by the SSD?
I must miss the elephant in the room but the way I read above specs, this cord is useless lol.
JaneYu We think this product could not hook up a GPU to your LattePanda.
Because most of the GPU is using the PCIE *16 slot, while this product just having the PCIE*4 slot.
If you want to connect a GPU to the LattePanda Sigma, there are two optional way for you:
1, Thunderbolt(USB-C) with a external GPU enclosure, such as the "Razer Core X".
2, Use a M.2 to PCIE*16 card to hook your GPU up, but since the M.2 slot of LattePanda only have the PCIE*4 band width, so there is an unavoidable performance loss for your GPU.
As for the second way, Linus has done this, please check this YouTube link:
