Is angle detection less than 50° possible with the LIS2DW12 sensor

From the LIS2DW12 wiki page excerpt code:

 

Can a lower threshold angle be selected and function properly?  (i.e., command line: ‘acce.set6DThreshold(DFRobot_LIS2DW12::eDregrees35);'
Would this still trigger, but at that approximate 35° tilt angle?

If anyone can help / let me know if this is possible.  I haven't bought it yet.
