DFRobot Flexible Piezo Film Vibration Sensor (SEN0209) Analog Output & Board Functionality
Hello DFRobot Community,
I'm currently working on a project using the DFRobot Flexible Piezo Film Vibration Sensor (SKU: SEN0209) and have found the provided datasheet to be a bit sparse on detailed information. I'm hoping to get some more in-depth technical details from the community or DFRobot support.
Specifically, I'm interested in the following:
More In-Depth Datasheet: Are there any additional datasheets or technical documents available for this specific board? The included documentation is quite basic and doesn't provide key specs like the output voltage range in analog mode.
Analog Voltage Output: When used in analog mode, what is the typical voltage range? From what I've gathered, the piezo film itself can generate very high voltages (up to ±90V), but the breakout board is designed for a 5V system. I'm assuming there's some sort of conditioning circuit that scales this down, but I need to know the expected voltage output to properly read it with an ADC on a microcontroller.
Functionality of the PCB Board: The small PCB board seems to do a lot more than just provide a connector. What are the key components and their functions? I'm particularly curious about the purpose of the sensitivity adjustment potentiometer.
Any information the community can provide would be a huge help! Thanks in advance.
Apologies I have found all of the technical documentation and have linked them below for future users reference:
