Edge101- DFR0886 Can not select board in Arduino IDE
ANTONIOS.PSAROMPAS 2025-11-08 17:08:29 204 Views3 Replies Recently purchased a few units of Edge101 (DFR0886) and I am having trouble in selecting the board in Arduino IDE software.
I have installed the board as per product wiki steps No1-2-3- No4 (Step 4: In the search box, type "Edge101", locate the package shown below, and click Install. Wait for the download to complete, then click Close.) - all succeeded.
but when trying to select the board (Step 5: Finally, set the board to "Edge101 IOT Controller" by selecting Tools -> DFRobot Edge101 -> Edge101 IOT Controller.) although I can see the board , it doesn't select it !
Board is connected through USB ,LAN and also powered by 24Vdc.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have removed all installed boards, even uninstalled Arduino IDE and made a new clean (deleted all Appdata folders) setup of the app, still the problem remains.
-DFRobot Edge101 menu is shown in boards menu, as also as Edge101 IOT Controller, but when trying to select it nothing happens. No board selected. I can only select COM port when I connect usb cable. Any ideas how to fix it? Thank you!
ANTONIOS.PSAROMPAS If you have multiple board packages installed (ESP32, STM32, etc.), there may be conflicts. Temporarily disable other board managers or remove their packages.
