Second ToF Camera Without Interference – Is There an External Trigger Option?

I am planning to use multiple Time-of-Flight cameras in my project, most likely the CS30 (SEN0673). A key requirement is maintaining precise timing control to avoid interference between the modulated illumination of several ToF cameras.
However, I have not found any information regarding single-frame request modes (software triggering) or hardware trigger inputs. Could anyone clarify whether external triggering is supported? If not officially available, is there any practical way to access such a “Sync” input on the camera board (e.g., by opening the housing and soldering additional wires)?
The reliable operation via precisely controlled triggering of both cameras (possibly extended to a 3- or 4-camera system) is a key point at this moment in my current university–industry project, and a solution here could enable a long-term collaboration, including the following scaling project phases.
Thank you in advance for any guidance or documentation you can share.
