How to Programmatically Trigger Hot-Swap on the DFR1168 USB4 to PCIe Docking Station

I’m working on integrating the DFR1168 USB4 to PCIe docking station into a product and need a way to trigger the hot-swap function programmatically from my own control PCB. I’ve reviewed the documentation, but it’s still unclear how to correctly configure SW1/SW2 for forced startup and whether toggling J3/J4 off and back on is the proper way to simulate a hot-swap to the host. I’d also like to know how long J3/J4 should remain off, and whether there is any onboard header or signal that allows external control, or if the only option is to remove J3/J4 and wire in my own control circuit. Any advice or clarification would be appreciated.
