TEL0150 Functionality

Looking into purchasing the TEL0150 and have some questions about it.

 

Does this controller complete handshake messages? So when a message is sent form something on the CAN Bus it responds that the message was received on the UART side.The USB port, can this be used as a monitoring system to see how the messages between the UART and CAN bus are being sent and recieved? Can you send messages via the USB while controller is communicating via the UART and CAN bus?
