What are the turbidity sensor wavelengths?
Jeffrey.White 2026-04-04 01:26:13 938 Views3 Replies I'd like to know the wavelength(s) of light used by the Gravity turbidity sensors SEN0189 and SEN0554.
I can't find a spec on the wavelength. Has anyone looked at the output with a spectrometer?
Thank you!
So, for the SEN0189, the LED emission spectrum peaks at 950nm, and the photodiode sensitivity spectrum peaks at 860nm, but one or both spectra are wide enough that there is an overlap. Correct?
And for the SEN0554, the LED emission spectrum and photodiode detection sensitivity spectrum both peak around 950nm. Correct?
Jeffrey.White Yes, your understanding is correct.
Hi!
Regarding the wavelength(s) of light used by the Gravity turbidity sensors:
• The SEN0189 turbidity sensor uses 860nm for receiving and 950nm for transmitting.
• The SEN0554 uses a light wavelength of 950nm.
