Water level sensor SEN0715

Hello everyone.
 

I just purchased the SEN0715 https://www.dfrobot.com/product-3114.html
 

Two questions:

1. Can I install the sensor with the cable going up? I want to install it near the top edge of the tank and the tank is in an enclosure and it's easier for cable routing.
 2. Can I use this with ESP32 or Raspberry Pico?
