Water level sensor SEN0715

I just purchased the SEN0715 https://www.dfrobot.com/product-3114.html
Two questions:
1. Can I install the sensor with the cable going up? I want to install it near the top edge of the tank and the tank is in an enclosure and it's easier for cable routing.2. Can I use this with ESP32 or Raspberry Pico?
Many thanks!

Yes, that should be fine. Installing it with the cable facing upward will not normally affect detection, as long as the sensing surface is firmly attached to the outside of the tank wall. Please note the tank should be non-metallic, with wall thickness preferably within 15mm. It is also recommended to recalibrate the sensor after installation.
The sensor supports 3.3–5V power and provides a simple High/Low digital output, so it can be used with ESP32 or Raspberry Pi Pico. For ESP32/Pico, I’d suggest powering the sensor with 3.3V so the output level is safe for the GPIO pins.
