Thank you Jason. After a lot of trying i found a driver that seems to work. I can see the DI1 and DI2 switching on the gateway and the AI changes . I've been trying to operate the Control Terminal Relay from the gateway but have not figured that out yet. Any suggestions?
Charles.Weerts Good progress on the DI/AI - that's the easy half. The relay works differently, and it's the part people usually get stuck on: it's not toggled by writing some value, it's rule-driven.
Set it up once in the LoRaWAN Tool:
Condition = "Receive gateway information" - you pick the exact string the gateway will send down (anything short you like)Action = "Relay DO" - choose pull-in / disconnect / flip, plus holding time (permanent or timed)Hit "Apply Rules"Then send that same string as a downlink from the gateway (Node-RED/TTN works) and the relay fires.
One thing to check first: set the device to CLASS C, not CLASS A. CLASS A only listens for a short window after each uplink, CLASS C listens almost all the time - that's what you want for a relay/actuator, otherwise the downlink can arrive in a dead window and get missed.

For Node-RED the downlink is just that string on your LoRaWAN port (FRMPayload) - if it matches the rule condition, it triggers the relay.
the LoRaWAN TOOL does not open on my Windows 11 computer.
I don't know the format for Node Red.

If the .exe won't launch, try these in order:
Install the USB-to-UART driver first — check the install_drivers_first folder in the GitHub ZIP, or grab the CH340/CP210x driver for your cable.
Run as administrator — right-click the .exe and select "Run as administrator".
Unblock the file — right-click → Properties → General → check "Unblock" if Windows flagged it.
No extra runtime needed — the ZIP already bundles Qt5 DLLs, so you don't need to install Qt or .NET.
If you still can't get the tool open, let me know the exact error message (popup text or Windows Event Viewer details) and I can dig further.
You can check if there is relevant information on the wiki about controlling the content of IO. Usually, the wiki can solve most of the problems.
